Who do you talk to when the only person who makes the most sense is you? So, I talk to MYSELF! I pray, write it down and figure it out… but I have to get it out. Being trapped in your mind is a crazy place to be or at least that’s what everyone would want you to believe! To me, I make the most sense! I’m able to calm myself down, lift myself up, and motivate myself! This is not to act as if I’m anything without God, just an acknowledgment of how far he’s brought me! Far too often I’ve been dependent upon others for all these things, for some form of validation or security. However, the Tyasia of today don't play like that! I’ve evolved. I’m unequivocally happy with being with just me. I must give credit where it’s due and thank my support system for all they’ve done in help and harm; as it created the foundation that stands before you. Any joy experienced thus far gave me an appreciation for the pain. Any success brought new meaning to failures and their lessons. Any open door produced gratitude for the ones that were closed in my face. I’m saying this to say that God did and is doing his thang when it comes to me! I’m so grateful for all that he has DONE!
It’s imperative that we pat ourselves on the back! Take pride in how much we’ve accomplished on this journey to becoming the best versions of ourselves. Do not allow the criticism of others to determine your life’s path. To be truly happy we must love ourselves above all else and love others the way God loves us. The greatest of these things is LOVE and without it radiating through the earth’s atmosphere we’re doomed to repeat the same failures over and over again. You don’t have the capacity to fully love someone without first loving yourself, it’s simply codependency. Hoping that one day they’ll be able to provide everything that you don’t feel worthy of providing for yourself. Waiting in vain…
